Spearman rank correlation analysis of apoE with anti-dsDNA antibody and SLEDAI in SLE patients. The sera apoE concentrations were positively correlated with anti-dsDNA antibody (r = 0.64, p < 0.01) and SLEDAI (r = 0.71, p < 0.01) in pre-treatment SLE patients. After prednisone treatment, the sera apoE concentrations were still positively correlated with anti-dsDNA antibody (r = 0.56, p < 0.01) and SLEDAI (r = 0.65, p < 0.01).
