Biopsy of the nodule revealed dense proliferation of spindle-shaped tumor cells from the dermis to the subcutaneous adipose tissue, and in some areas, densely packed spindle cells were arranged in a storiform pattern (a-c). Biopsy of the atrophic plaque revealed that the thickness of the dermis is reduced, and a spindle cell proliferation replaces the dermis extending into the subcutaneous tissue (d-f)
