Serous EIC in uterine adenomyosis (case 2). A small focus of serous carcinoma and serous EIC (arrows) was present in the adenomyosis a. The neoplastic cells showed significant atypia b. The pattern of endometrial glandular dysplasia (EmGD) was shown in another field c. Higher magnification (original magnification *400) showed the presence of nuclear atypia in EmGD (inserted in the left lower corner of c). The cells in EmGD showed p53 over expression d, a relatively lower Ki67 index (approximately 40 %) e, and a moderate ER expression (++) f. The neoplastic cells in serous carcinoma and EIC (arrows) were diffusely positive for p53 g. (Original magnifications: A*50; B-G*200)
