Morphological features of the tumor. There were cysts of various sizes, some of which had crack-like structures, in the area of the AB thymoma (a, b). A gradual transition was found between these structures in the thymoma and squamous cell carcinoma. The white arrows indicate the epithelial cells of the cystic structures in the thymic thymoma and the black arrows indicate the carcinoma cells of the squamous cell carcinoma
