Hematoxylin and eosin (H & E) features of both biopsies. In the first biopsy of the right basal ganglia lesion (a,e), abundant mature-appearing lymphocytes were present in a mostly perivascular distribution. In the second biopsy of the left middle cerebellar peduncle lesion (f-j), there were sheets of neoplastic cells with large nuclei and numerous mitoses (j, arrowheads).
