Representative morphology of CD56+ ALCLs in our series. a This tumor manifested obvious pleomorphism in morphology, and both typical hallmark cells and large cells with multiple nuclei in a wreath-like pattern were observed (H&E, × 400). b Atypical neoplastic cells admixed with a large number of eosinophils (H&E, × 400). c This small cell variant ALCL consisted predominantly of small- to medium-sized lymphoid cells with hyperchromatic nuclei, mimicking histiocytoid or plasmacytoid cytomorphology, and more irregular larger cells were scattered (H&E, × 400)
