Using the cutoff of 92.5%, with > 92.5% nuclear immunostaining for cyclin D1 as a positive test for subungual MIS, cyclin D1 showed poor overall discrimination between benign SMP and subungual MIS (AUC = 0.527, 95% CI = 0.328–0.721).
