Spearman rank correlation analysis of apoE with IL-6, IFN-γ and IL-10 in SLE patients. The sera apoE concentrations positively correlated with IL-6 (r = 0.57, p < 0.01), IFN-γ (r = 0.78, p < 0.01) and IL-10 (r = 0.76, p < 0.01) in pre-treatment SLE patients. After prednisone treatment, the sera apoE concentrations still positively correlated with IL-6 (r = 0.54, p < 0.01), IFN-γ (r = 0.82, p < 0.01) and IL-10 (r = 0.70, p < 0.01).
