Cluster Analysis of COVpos and COVneg cases by SARS-CoV-2 status and Marker Scores. In this cluster analysis, subjects are clustered by similarity in marker scores and COVID-19 status. The large red, blue and orange bar on the y-axis refers to the COVID status: Red barā€‰=ā€‰subjects whose COD was SARS-COV-2 disease (COVID-19). Orange barā€‰=ā€‰subjects who were positive for SARS-COV-2 at postmortem examination but whose primary COD was not COVID-19. Blue barsā€‰=ā€‰subjects who were negative for SARS-CoV-2 at postmortem examination. Marker names are on the X axis. Marker grades are displayed as various colors. Pale yellowā€‰=ā€‰no staining (grade 0). Bright yellowā€‰=ā€‰minimal staining (grade 1). Orangeā€‰=ā€‰moderate staining (grade 2). Brownā€‰=ā€‰large amounts of staining (grade 3). LVā€‰=ā€‰left ventricle; RVā€‰=ā€‰right ventricle
